Hey, I’m Gabe.

I used to have a blog wayyyy back in the day. My love for reading, philosophy, and debate has always kept me thinking, and my hobbyfor computers and networking has, ultimately, led me back to having my own tiny, tiny piece of the internet. A homepage, a blog, a space that’s mine. Having a VPS (fancy term for server) is useful for developing and tinkering—and while I’m at it, why not host a blog on it?

Blogs are outdated, sure. Social media has the latest and greatest, but I find myself more drawn to long-form content, deeper discussions, and ideas that don’t vanish in an algorithmic void. I like nuance. I like conversation. Just like vinyl and parachute pants, blogs are making a comeback. Beyond riding bikes, I spend a lot of time reading, questioning, and debating ideas. Philosophy, history, technology, niche rabbit holes—if it sparks curiosity, I’m in. This site is a reflection of that: a place for my thoughts, interests, and whatever else I decide to throw into the void.

I hope you enjoy my tiny corner of the internet.

You have power over your mind—not outside events.
Realize this, and you will find strength
